Evaluation

Evaluation for editing the podcast The reason I edited the podcast like this was that I knew that I wanted to add text to show the questions and the important information. This was important as if people who are watching the podcast would know what type of information is more important and could imply to them. I also knew that keeping the podcast simplistic was important as having loads of text and pop-ups that I had before the feedback made the podcast look more like a YouTube video. I also knew before editing the podcast that I needed it to be chatty and keep in all of the information that was needed, as a podcast is about talking. As my audience is 16-20 years old I thought that this style of editing would fit well.  Overall I am very happy with the final product of my podcast. I have added everything I wanted to add and more. I had a vision of what I wanted the podcast to look like when we were filming it as I could see what I could add to the edit. This really helped me...

Final products and feedback

Responses to Audience feedback for the podcast This is one of the responses I got for the podcast. This response is about the positive side of the podcast. This response made me glad that I added certain features to the podcast and I'm glad that they enjoyed the type of style the podcast was edited in.  The second answer to this question is about how they like my editing. I don't know what part of editing they like but I assume that it is all of the different features I have added to the podcast to make it more entertaining. I think this answer means that there must be some pauses that really stand out after the presenter reads out the question. If this is the case I will go back and edit the clips that have this issue and make sure everything flows better and there are no real visible pauses. I feel like this answer is about keeping some clips that are not about the podcast. I will remove these as I want the podcast to be about health and fitness. Making changes based on feedb...

Starting editing process for podcast During the Christmas break, I started editing the podcast. I started importing the two clips and putting clip 1 onto the editing track. I went through the clip and added text for each question, with different templates for it to look appealing. I also throughout the editing process was cutting out some of the long pauses to make the podcast flow better. As I was going through the clip I was thinking about what I could add to make the podcast more engaging for views on YouTube. This would consist of zoom-in, text, music, and more. Some of the clips would fit with a certain style of editing and engagement to make the video flow. The overall vibe of the podcast is to make important information less serious so people who struggle with fitness and health, in general, would make them feel less stressed about what information we are talking about. Our presenters were joking, laughing, being themselves, and making the whole topic less serious as ...

F ilming podcast Overview of filming On this day we recorded our podcast in the  ' Creative Media production room at Sunderland college Bede' . This was our only location for shooting the podcast as we knew that it would have all of the facilities and enough space for what we are filming.  Our presenters for the podcast were  Henry Briggs and Katie Moon and they did an excellent job of answering questions and giving advice on our class questions. They also added comedy as well as important information, which will make the viewers and listeners less stressed at participating in the exercise as it does not need to be serious. You can have fun and enjoyment while exercising and this podcast shows this very well.  The filming crew was Faith Sowerby and myself as an assistant. We had a camera on a tripod with a microphone to capture the speech of our presenters. The setting for the podcast was a sofa with a plain background. there was a table where they had their scr...

Pre-production: Logistical Elements

Resource list These are all of the resources we will need and use to film or prepare for our production. The equipment we will be using will either be from one of us that already owns one, or we can borrow the items example cameras, tripods, and other filming equipment from the college with their permission. This list would help us understand what equipment we need to borrow and which equipment one of us already owns. Personnel list This is the personnel list, and this is where we have the names of people, the roles that they are doing, and their contact information. This makes it helpful and easier on the day of filming. This is because we will know who we need where and we can see which roles people are doing to make the filming process go well, as everything is organized.    Contributor release forms These are the forms for people who are involved in the filming production and they have signed the forms knowing about the different ways people can use this production and...
