Responses to Audience feedback for the podcast This is one of the responses I got for the podcast. This response is about the positive side of the podcast. This response made me glad that I added certain features to the podcast and I'm glad that they enjoyed the type of style the podcast was edited in.  The second answer to this question is about how they like my editing. I don't know what part of editing they like but I assume that it is all of the different features I have added to the podcast to make it more entertaining. I think this answer means that there must be some pauses that really stand out after the presenter reads out the question. If this is the case I will go back and edit the clips that have this issue and make sure everything flows better and there are no real visible pauses. I feel like this answer is about keeping some clips that are not about the podcast. I will remove these as I want the podcast to be about health and fitness. Making changes based on feedb...

Production: Main project

Starting editing process for podcast During the Christmas break, I started editing the podcast. I started importing the two clips and putting clip 1 onto the editing track. I went through the clip and added text for each question, with different templates for it to look appealing. I also throughout the editing process was cutting out some of the long pauses to make the podcast flow better. As I was going through the clip I was thinking about what I could add to make the podcast more engaging for views on YouTube. This would consist of zoom-in, text, music, and more. Some of the clips would fit with a certain style of editing and engagement to make the video flow. The overall vibe of the podcast is to make important information less serious so people who struggle with fitness and health, in general, would make them feel less stressed about what information we are talking about. Our presenters were joking, laughing, being themselves, and making the whole topic less serious as ...

Canon project Rationale

My idea for the Journey campaign The type of journey I have chosen is  Travel   and I am going to add some personal places I have been to all around the world in my life so far. This journey shows how fortunate I have been to be able to travel to these destinations at a young age and to create unforgettable memories. I want people to understand how beautiful the world is no matter where in the world you go. I want people to understand that shooting pictures while you are abroad is amazing as when you look back on the picture you will be able to see all of the details that the camera has picked up on.   You would also be living the moment all over again.  As travel is big to see on social media everyone is invested in where they went and what they recommend when they were there. These could be trips, restaurants, sightseeing, and companies to do travel and trips with. The main part I would be focusing on is sightseeing and trips, as this is one way of seeing ev...

Canon - Investigation and Analysis

Image
Client research The clients are Canon which was founded on 10th August 1937 in Tokyo Japan. Canon claim that they let "people push boundaries of what is possible through imaging". They are an industry-leading technology supporting feature demands of  videographers, photographers, office workers printers, medical imaging  and many more . They have not specified what type of journey but they have given us some prompts if people are struggling such as travel, sports, information of any kind, and many other specific topics. These topics are just helpful guides but this does not stop you from using your own ideas, you could pick a journey people to make every day and people can relate to and start for themselves. Or you could do your personal journey that you have gone on and one you are still on. The possibilities are endless you just got to pick the right one for you.  Subject matter research The purpose of the Journey campaign is that they want young people to c...

Canon - Interpreting the Brief

Image
Interpreting the brief Canon has launched a campaign all about "Journey" . They want young people aged between 16-25 to work together and form an allegiance to Canon equipment and services within their age group. The purpose of this campaign can make young people realise how many personals journey they have gone on throughout their lives which could have impacted them in more than one way. This can also make people realise that people go on different journeys throughout their lives and this can make people an idea of what people actually go through behind the scenes.  The type of pictures this age group could be capturing could be from the past, the present, and the future. All of these pictures could tell a story that they want people to know about. These pictures could also be what their future is going to look like as they are going to make sure that everything happens.  My thoughts on the Journey campaign Overall I think this campaign is an amazing idea for Canon as many...

Post - Production Diary

F ilming podcast Overview of filming On this day we recorded our podcast in the  ' Creative Media production room at Sunderland college Bede' . This was our only location for shooting the podcast as we knew that it would have all of the facilities and enough space for what we are filming.  Our presenters for the podcast were  Henry Briggs and Katie Moon and they did an excellent job of answering questions and giving advice on our class questions. They also added comedy as well as important information, which will make the viewers and listeners less stressed at participating in the exercise as it does not need to be serious. You can have fun and enjoyment while exercising and this podcast shows this very well.  The filming crew was Faith Sowerby and myself as an assistant. We had a camera on a tripod with a microphone to capture the speech of our presenters. The setting for the podcast was a sofa with a plain background. there was a table where they had their scr...
